PROJECT: ADIZERO X SNOOP

CONCEPT SKETCHES FOR ADIZERO SNOOP LION:

This concept brought to life a “First of Its Kind” partnership with then rapper and entertainer SNOOP LION. In addition to its unique and authentic endorsement, this never-before-offered in the marketplace ADIZERO, utilized photo-realistic digital printing on both the upper and the tooling. The ADIZERO, the lightest cleat ever created, led sales for over a decade. The concept was also paired with an upgraded package solution represented in this sketch.

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING REALIZATION:

The unique ADIZERO SNOOP LION product offering was also paired with new packaging to round out the product experience. Adorned with photo-realistic digital printing, the vessel also incorporated gold foil to compliment the lion teeth lace jewel found on the cleat. To carry along the theme, the internal tissue paper had zebra stripes to represent the LION’S prey.

PRODUCT ACTIVATION:

To launch the product and announce it to the world, it was activated in a unique way as well. Offered at a HYPE DROP in Los Angeles at the world renowned sneaker shop UNDFTD, the collectible ADIZERO SNOOP LION launch was accompanied and attended by Coach SNOOP himself.

PRODUCT ACTIVATION:

Capitalizing on the launch’s excitement and energy, the event was captured both in video and photographic formats documenting the monumental occasion and used for the campaign’s comms role out. This digital content was used to begin the season’s comms role out across several digital platforms.

LEADER OF THE PACK:

Being the “King of the Jungle” and the leader of the pack, The ADIZERO SNOOP LION led the way and cleared the path for the mascot theme and franchise to come to life. The highly successful “UNCAGED” themed pack followed with many college and high school mascots attacking the market, and took over the athlete’s hearts and minds. Reppin’ their school’s mascots on-field translated to sales.

FRANCHISE EVOLUTION:

The “UNCAGED” theme grew and influenced future activations. With the success came chasers. But no one could catch this beast! The theme was used to activate the NFL ‘s combine 40 yrd. dash event. Pushing the theme across social and digital platforms, and advertising that if you were to break the 40 yrd. dash record in a pair of UNCAGED ADIZEROS you would be driving home in an UNCAGED Porsche!

PROJECT: ADIDAS RGIII SIGNATURE CLEAT

CONCEPT SKETCHES FOR RGIII SIGNATURE CLEAT:

The Heisman Trophy Winner Robert Griffin III deserved his own signature cleat, and this was it. Working directly with Robert to deliver against his unique on-field requirements, this innovative footwear solution incorporated a booty-constructed upper with laminated packages.

RGIII SIGNATURE CLEAT CONCEPT SKETCHES:

Considering every angle of the product design and utilizing a unique 360 product approach, the branding took into consideration both his competing in track & field and the video game like behind the QB camera TV angles while in the pocket and his dynamic on-field play.

RGIII LIMITED EDITION PACKAGING AND PRODUCT ACTIVATION:

Drawing from his parent’s military background and paying tribute to their years of service, we created a limited edition “Military Appreciation” pack. Delivered in an ammo can with matching shirt, hat, socks, and dog tags, this set was priced at $1500 (Which made it the most expensive cleat ever sold) and proceeds went to military families in need.

KNOW YOUR WHY:

“Know Your Why” was the motto and mindset promoted by RGIII, It emphasizes the importance of understanding your purpose and reason for pursuing goals and challenges, suggesting that knowing your “why” can lead to more motivation and resilience. He used this phrase frequently encouraging people to find their purpose and work towards it with dedication.
